Bungaree Loop near Ballarat in Victoria - The line opened in 1889 and was closed in December 2020 with the opening of a more direct passing loop. There were stations at Bungaree and Wallace which closed in the 1980s. Here is some line side vision from 2020 before the closure.

Beaufort Railway Station here in Victoria doesn't get much coverage. Before the standard gauge was built in 1995, this section was the main line between Melbourne and Adelaide. These days, V/Line Vlocity broad gauge trains to Ararat call at the station.

There was a super rare visitor to Melbourne Airport last night. The 63 year old US Airforce Boeing RC-135W which is the military variant of the Boeing 707. It looked and sounded great.

To exit the Hanson Quarry at Kilmore East here in Victoria, the broad gauge aggregates train needs to cross over the main north east Standard Gauge line.

The two lines closest to camera are standard gauge and the other two tracks are broad gauge.
